Richard Blye and his Juneteenth Artistic Collaborative Experience committee played an important role in bringing recognition of Juneteenth to Delaware County. Also founder of the Association of Black Journalists, Bennett will review his more than 50 years as a journalist. In 2022, Spirit Media Group received the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award. His company, Spirit Media Group, is the only minority-owned news and media company based in Delaware County.
